This year three of my brothers are in soccer so we have the opportunity to watch the games! It's lots of fun cause I get to watch all different ages play. :) John who is 8 is one of my favourites. Last week someone decided to try and score but the goalie blocked it and went all the way down to the other end and scored himself. It was so funny because all the other players just stood there not knowing if the goalie was allowed to do that! :) They are so cute!
Then there is Steven who is 11 and that’s even more fun to watch because at this age they are all trying to act older then they are. Their team effort it great and last night Steven's team won so we all went out for ice cream.
Then there is Justin’s group which ranges from 15-18. That’s were you actually watch the hard core soccer. Well sometimes because there are girls in among the guys and well they don’t want to hurt them so they slow down which is so cute to watch. :) lol
Soccer is actually a really great sport! It's competitive but not. It's more about team effort which is exactly how the real world works. In almost every area in life, if the whole team doesn't work together towards their goal they won’t reach it. So I think soccer is great because it teaches kids how to work like a team, which is awesome!
